Kerala Houseboat Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Bangalore- Mysore: Arrive Bangalore , we will transfer you to Mysore (145KM) enroute visiting Sirangapatnam capital of warrior King Hyder Ali & his son Tipu Sultan. Arrive Mysore and check in at hotel. Night stay in Mysore.
Day 02: Mysore
After breakfast, Sightseeing of Chamundi Hill - Right on the top of the hill, Brindavan Gardens - Witness the exuberant beauty of Brindavan Gardens- one of the most beautiful gardens in India. Overnight stay in Mysore
Day 03 Ooty:
After breakfast visit Mysore Palace: Once the residence of the Woodeyars, Built in 1912 in the Indo - Saracenic style, this palace exudes a grandeur that is unmatched. Later visit Chamundi Hills check out at 1200 hrs and transfer to Ooty (165 Km 4 hrs) . Chek in at hotel and the evening. night at Ooty.
Day 04: Ooty:
After breakfast visit Botanical Garden: A variety of exotic and ornamental plants adorn this garden Go for Boating Dodda Betta, Conoor Tea Gardens, Sim's Park, Dolphin's Nose . Over Night stay in Ooty.
Day 05: Ooty- Munnar
After breakfast at 0900 hrs check out and transfer to Munnar (280 Kms / 06 Hrs). Enjoy beautiful streams, small water falls, cardamom and Tea plantations and thick forests throughout the journey, Almighty has blessed his own country with incomparable beauty - to have longlasting memory of your days in Kerala. On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel.. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 06: Munnar:
After breakfast we take you for a day sightseeing trip of Munnar watch beautiful mist kissing romantic green meadows- mind-blowing hills sleeping under green carpet, visit - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary , Tea Plantation. Overnight stay in Hotel, Munnar.
Day 07: Munnar – Periyar:
AM: 0900 Hrs check out from Hotel after breakfast and we take you to Thekkady (120 Kms / 4 Hrs) drive through panoramic western ghats hills covered with spice plantations and occasional view of water falls and streams. check into Hotel. Afternoon you can experience the mind bowing view of calm crystal clear Periyar Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel, Thekkady
Day 08: Periyar- Houseboat:
After breakfast checks out from Hotel and we drive down to Alleppey (145 Kms / 4 Hrs). 1230 hrs checks in at houseboat. Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and enjoy your evening on the sundeck away form contaminated cities and maddening crowd .Only disturbance will be twinkle of a shining star or diving of fish around your to say hello by waving its tail from the lake. Overnight stay on House Boat.
Day 09 Kochi
After breakfast check out from houseboat at 0900 hrs and will transfer you to Hotel. PM: We take you for a half day sightseeing of Cochin, Visit: The Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St.Francis church, before 5pm (remains closed on Saturdays)Chinese fishing net & the indo-Portuguese Museum. Later transfer you back to Hotel. Evening we take to show Kathakali dance (ancient dance of kerala - Optional). Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 10 Departure (From Bangalore)
After breakfast we will transfer you to Bangalore airport or Railway
station.
